Here are most of Pierre Le-Tan’s posters and covers (books and Criterion) he did for Whit Stillman:
Very sad to hear that Pierre Le-Tan has passed away. He was an amazing illustrator who did artwork for top publications and also did artwork for Whit Stillman. Stillman also was his agent at Riley Illustration (Stillman took over the business for his late uncle) and tasked Le-Tan with doing the international poster for Metropolitan.
Le-Tan’s artwork is on the international posters for the Whit Stillman Trilogy and also the Criterion box set. Barcelona originally didn’t have a poster by Le-Tan and that was commissioned for the Criterion box set. Le-Tan’s artwork also popped up on the wall in The Last Days of Disco and he did illustrations for Whit Stillman’s The Last Days of Disco novel (the ’98 poster artwork was also reused for the cover). The cover for Whit Stillman’s Love & Friendship novel also has artwork from Le-Tan.
You can pre-order Whit Stillman’s newly penned novel, Love & Friendship: In Which Jane Austen’s Lady Susan Vernon Is Entirely Vindicated, on amazon, amazon.co.uk & amazon.ca. It releases on May 17th, 2016 in the USA from Little Brown and on May 19th in the UK from Two Roads.
