‘Love & Friendship’ Was Almost a Play
Though Stillman didn’t like the idea of not being able to to cut and edit it. He also found rewriting after a year of putting the script down a good way to cut out the chaff. A very good interview that shows the process of writing and getting Love & Friendship made.
In our opinion, Damsels in Distress would make a really great stage musical.
