Cynthia Littleton writes about Amazon Studios for Variety. The article points out Amazon is hoping for a long theatrical run for Whit Stillman’s Love & Friendship. Whit Stillman’s Love & Friendship opens on May 13th in the United States.
But Whit Stillman’s “Love and Friendship” will likely have a more traditional stay in theaters, based on the strong response to screenings at the Sundance Film Festival.
“It could play all summer,” Berney said.
You may be asking, “Is it going to series, where is the pilot, when are more episodes coming out?” You are in luck, because Amazon has ordered more scripts, but you’ll probably have to wait a bit because Whit Stillman has new a film in post, called Love & Friendship. Stillman’s Love & Friendship is based on a Jane Austen Novella and stars Kate Beckinsale and Chloe Sevigny.
In short, Amazon has ordered more scripts, the pilot is still available to view on amazon and when more episodes are coming out is anyone’s guess (IMDB has L&F slated for a 2016 release). Stay tuned…
