“Damsel” Greta Gerwig Shines in ‘Mistress America’

Greta Gerwig, who played the lead in Whit Stillman’s Damsels in Distress comes out with another amazing performance in Mistress America.  Gerwig also co wrote the screenplay with Noah Baumbach.  Richard Brody at The New Yorker has this to say about Gerwig’s latest outing.

Baumbach fills his cast with actors who are deft talkers, starting with Gerwig, whose mercurial delivery of the dialogue should be no surprise after her performance in Whit Stillman’s “Damsels in Distress,” which channels Katharine Hepburn’s linguistic acrobatics.
