‘Damsels in Distress’ poster revealed

Collider has revealed the poster that will be used to publicise Damsels in Distress.

'Damsels in Distress' posterI assume this is the poster for the US release, and that movie posters often vary from one country to another, but here we are. I’m not sure it’s particularly exciting, but hopefully it’s enough to help pull in the crowds. What do you think? (Click the image for a larger version.)

Awful. This is the film that will finally drive Stillman into permanent retirement.

I love it. Good or bad, the right people will, as well. Reminds me of sophisticated musicals of our past. I’m so on board for this one. Thanks Mr. Stillman for giving us another of your creations.

Somewhat muddled as a promotional image, but then anyone visiting this site is likely sold already. The critical quotes are the highlight for me. Hopefully a trailer won’t be far behind.

Whit’s name should be prominently displayed. IMHO, that’s the selling point. But, of course, I’m so on-board for another Stillman film, I don’t even need a poster to pique my interest. That being said, I think the poster is eye-catching, and will attractively introduce the title of the film.
