&lt;p&gt;The "gossip columnist" referred to must have been Shinan Govani, who writes of his experience of the event &lt;a href="http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/columnists/story.html?id=6dc32680-fe21-45b7-ae06-c4fdfc1b1868" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow"&gt;for Canada's &lt;cite&gt;National Post&lt;/cite&gt;&lt;/a&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;
